New Orleans Faith Health Alliance
New Orleans Faith Health Alliance (NOFHA) is a free-standing, private non-profit, tax-exempt organization providing affordable health care for uninsured workers and their families in the Greater New Orleans region.

In addition to providing a full array of primary care services, our emphasis is on prevention and wellness through the integration of physical, emotional, & spiritual health services tailored to the individual needs of each member-patient.

NOFHA operates as a private, physician-directed medical practice - like a regular doctor’s office. Uninsured workers must pre-enroll to be members in the practice. All members pay for medical services based on their ability to pay. Payments are based on a sliding fee scale and are proportional to member/family income.

Artdocs
ARTDOCS is a non-profit organization offering medical care to artists with limited resources who do not have medical insurance. ARTDOCS provides care for visual artists, writers, musicians, poets and performers who make less than $21,660/year (2 times the national poverty level) or less than $44,100/year for a family of four.

ARTDOCS has been treating artists in New Orleans for over 10 years now. In the past 5 years, since our last auction, the city has gone through massive change and upheaval from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. ARTDOCS has been seeing patients throughout this period of recovery, helping our artists to remain active and healthy. Currently, patients are seen at the Daughters of Charity Health Center at St. Cecilia’s in the Bywater (4201 North Rampart Street) by Drs. Coleman Pratt and Sarat Raman, our medical director. Both of these physicians trained at LSU under the direction of Dr. Vince Morelli, one of ARTDOCS’ founders, and have returned post-graduation and post-Katrina to help with the recovery.
